Your Tailored Itinerary
07:30 AM | Hotel Pickup & Scenic Drive
Avoid the 8:00 AM rush hour. We head north to Mutianyu (75km). As we exit the highway, we’ll drive through peaceful local villages, giving you a glimpse of authentic rural Beijing.
09:30 AM | Mutianyu Great Wall (Cable Car Recommended)
To save your energy for the best views, I strongly recommend taking the cable car. This allows us to spend more time walking the restored watchtowers and taking photos without the exhaustion of the 1,000-step climb.
12:30 PM | Authentic Countryside Lunch
We’ll enjoy a fresh, local meal at a hand-picked restaurant near the Wall. Whether you love Kung Pao Chicken or seasonal vegetables, the food is authentic and energizing.
02:00 PM | The Sacred Way (Spirit Path)
A short drive to the Ming Tombs. We will walk the 800-meter Stone Statue Path. I’ll explain the “24-hour guard change” symbolism behind the 36 massive sculptures.
04:30 PM | Comfortable Return
Relax in the car after a day of walking. We’ll have you back at your hotel by 5:30-6:00 PM.

FAQ 1: Is this tour suitable for seniors or guests with limited mobility?
Answer: Generally, yes, but with some specific notes. We use the cable car to reach the highest point easily. However, please note that there is a 200-meter uphill walk on an uneven stone path between the shuttle bus drop-off and the cable car station. While wheelchairs can be pushed, it requires some effort. As your private guide, I will be there to assist.
FAQ 2: Can we customize the starting time or itinerary?
Answer: Absolutely. As this is a 100% private tour, we can start earlier or later based on your preference. We can also swap the Sacred Way for another site if you have specific interests.
FAQ 3: If we want to hike the Great Wall, is the cable car still necessary?
Answer: Yes, absolutely. The cable car is to reach the Wall on the mountain ridge. Taking it saves you from a 30-minute strenuous climb, allowing you to save all your energy for the actual hiking on the historic watchtowers.
